I had a job that involved lots of smaller jobs which when combined made it bigger than any electrical job I have ever gotten done by anyone (multiple days' work). Long story short after approaching 4 different contractors I awarded the work to EJM based on a number of factors, including the detail provided in the quote and the fact they were local. EJM mentioned that they were busy at the time, but would fit our job in before XMas. Unlike many contractors I have dealt with in the past EJM were true to their word, contacting me before XMas and booking in a time/day to start the work. As it turns out the first day of the work was very hot (38C) and required a quite a bit of time in our roof cavity, but despite the conditions, EJM still did the work; they just managed the job to try to minimize the time in the roof during the hottest part of the day and leveraging the fact the second day was going to be a little bit cooler (only 30C!). Another thing I noticed about EJM is that with multiple people on site, Evan genuinely looked after his team and was genuinely concerned with their welfare especially given the hot weather. Turning to the work done, it's now been about a week since EJM was here and we have had no problems at all with any of the work. Both ceiling fans that we had installed are aligned so well that I cannot see the slightest wobble in either of them. Exhaust fans are working well and the 35+ lights and other things we had done are all looking good and doing what we wanted them to do. Things were left tidy on both days. I received the electrical certificate of compliance paperwork same day as the job was completed. I would highly recommend EJM Electrical to anyone looking for a contractor with good communication and work ethic who is easy to deal with.

Evan just installed new down-lights throughout my home, and the result is absolutely stunning! He showed up on time, worked efficiently, and left zero mess behind. Super knowledgeable, patiently answered all my questions, and even suggested a dimmer setup I hadn’t thought of. The lighting completely transformed the space. EJM Electrical & his team did a fabulous work. Had to install LED Downlights, Sensor Flood lights, outside lights, fans installation and TV wall mount. It was amazing how Evan would discuss with you how to optimize the lights and reduce LEDs to maximise efficiency and saving money. Loved their work which was very clean, professional, pocket friendly and quite astonishing. Highly recommend Evan and his team if you need to transform your home to heaven!

I wanted an electrician to replace my old ceramic cooktop with a new one. Evan was the best quote out of four others.
